Central Penn College Homecoming

By Amanda Paull

On Saturday, October 22, Central Penn College hosted our annual Homecoming event!  The day kicked off with the family-friendly Fall Harvest activities, which included live bands, local vendors, pumpkin carving and even a mechanical bull.

Our Homecoming king and queen were crowned and their charities of choice – PAWS (Performance Animal Welfare Society) and Doctors Without Borders will be receiving a donation in their name. Sebastine Virella and Felicia Miller were presented with the 2016 Homecoming royalty honor!

Our Alumni Association hosted a Golden Graduate reunion that weekend as well. Eight graduates were honored for celebrating their college reunion, 50 years after graduating from CPC! After the Golden Grads met, the alumni association hosted a “Feast & Brews” tent to allow graduates, staff and faculty to mingle while enjoying beverages that were provided by our generous alumni.

The day ended with a home men’s soccer match. The game was an instense matchup that went into overtime – ending in a tie.

This is one of our favorite annual events on campus – we hope you can make next year’s festivities!
